ANGELINA

Born and raised in Ukraine, Angelina Kaduk grew up painting and drawing. She studies visual and fine art in secondary school and college, and worked with CAD (computer-aided design) before relocating to the United States.
Once she and her family found a foothold here in their new country, and after a bit of bouncing back and forth between Jacksonville FL and Seattle WA, Angelina finally fulfilled her life-long dream and took on a tattoo apprenticeship with our boss Joe Vegas’s longtime associate Vinnie Batlle over at Bold City Tattoo in Jacksonville FL. She completed her apprenticeship and remained with the shop for several years, building a strong client base along the way, until it was the time for Angelina to move on to the next challenge and relocate to Atlanta GA in 2021: a loss for Jacksonville, but a win for us!
As you can see, she excels in many styles of tattooing: floral, mandala, geometry… but a key reason we were able to get her on our team was her interest in Japanese style. A lifetime admirer of Japanese culture, history, art, folklore, and mythology, Angelina has nurtured a deep appreciation for the art of Japanese tattoo. We at Thunderbolt Tattoo are known as a “go-to spot” for Japanese in the Southeast, and Angelina is happy to do an extra detailed version for you! Angelina is an awesome wife and a mom, she speaks 3 languages, and in her free time, she loves gardening, paining, traveling, as well as and cuddling with their lab Kasha. Our boss says she and her husband are his “favorite Americans”. She’s really a solid choice for your next tattoo, and we hope to see you soon in the studio!
